When a patient has space due to missing teeth on one arch, teeth from the opposing arch tend to super-erupt into this space. This creates a problem for the restorative dentist. It is very difficult to intrude the super-erupted tooth using orthodontics alone. In this case, we use Invisalign with the help of the temporary anchorage device (TAD) to intrude #3 and level the occlusal plane. Patient will have a dental implant to restore the missing tooth after orthodontic treatment.
